On 25 April 1969, Technical Sergeant Warren Cephus Delaney was serving with 554th Reconnaissance Squadron, 553rd Reconnaissance Wing, 7th Air Force.

On that day, TSGT Delaney was killed when the aircraft on which he was a crewmember crashed due to a non-hostile action. His body was recovered.
