Thomas Dale Culp

Captain, U.S. Army

Thomas Dale Culp was born on 11 March 1939 and was a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy, Class of 1962.

On 11 September 1967, Captain Thomas Dale Culp was commanding Detachment A-401 (4th Mobile Strike Force Company), D Company, 5th Special Forces Group, in Thuong Thoi Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, CPT Culp was killed in action when he sustained wounds from small arms fire. His body was recovered.
