Kevin Francis Cregon was born on 21 October 1948.

On 23 February 1969, Specialist Four Kevin Francis Cregon was serving with D Troop, 1st Squadron, 9th Cavalry, 1st Cavalry Division, in Binh Long Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, SP4 Cregon was killed in action when he sustained wounds from small arms fire. His body was recovered.
