Byron Henry Collier

Byron Henry Collier was born in 1931 in Keokuk, IA. He was a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Class of 1954.

During his naval career, Collier achieved the rank of Captain. He then became Chief Engineer for Stone & Webster before running a nuclear energy consulting company with his wife, Beverly. His many successes were fueled by his love of life, from Eagle Scout to master gardener.

Death and Burial

Byron Henry Collier, age 79, succumbed to heart failure after four months in Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT. He died on 9 February 2010.

Byron is survived by his wife, Beverly; and children, Byron Jr., Jeff, and Susan Collier. He also had three grandchildren.

He is buried at the U.S. Naval Academy Cemetery in Annapolis, MD.
