Muril Steven Cole

Private First Class, U.S. Marine Corps

Muril Steven Cole was born on 25 August 1950 in Omaha, NE. He was the son of Mr. & Mrs. Duane O. Cole. Steven joined the U.S. Marines in 1968 and had been in Vietnam five months.

On 1 October 1969, Private First Class Muril Steven Cole was serving with Headquarters, 3rd Combined Action Group, III Marine Amphibious Force, in Thua Thien Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, PFC Cole was killed by friendly fire. His body was recovered.
