Kevin Michael Clarke was born on 14 May 1948.

On 11 July 1967, Lance Corporal Kevin Michael Clarke was serving with G Battery, 3rd Battalion, 12th Marines, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Amphibious Force, in Thua Thien Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, Lance Corporal Clarke was killed in action when he sustained wounds from artillery, rocket or mortar fire. His body was recovered.
