Keith Matthew Maupin

United States Army Reserve staff sergeant who was captured by Iraqi insurgents in April 2004. He was held captive for an indeterminate amount of time before being murdered. His remains were recovered and positively identified in March 2008/ SSG Maupin was the first U.S. soldier to be missing in action during the War in Iraq.
