William Dee Smith

William Dee Smith was born on 9 February 1933 in Denver, CO.

Smith graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with the Class of 1955.

On 1 February 1991, Smith was promoted to the four-star rank of Admiral and assigned as U.S. Military Representative, NATO Military Committee (USMILREP) from 1991 to 1993.

Admiral Smith retired in 1993.
