Fredrick Marlton Binder

Fredrick Marlton Binder was born on 3 June 1946 in Kent, WA.

On 27 June 1966, PFC Fredrick Marlton Binder was serving with 161st Assault Helicopter Company, 52nd Aviation Battalion, 17th Aviation Group, 1st Aviation Brigade in Phu Yen Province in South Vietnam.

On that day, PFC Binder was killed when the helicopter he was on crashed in a non-hostile action. His status changed from Missing to Died While Missing. His body was recovered. While in MIA status, Binder received a posthumous promotion to Corporal.
