Dwight Leroy Basey

Specialist Four, U.S. Army

Dwight L. Basey was born on 22 July 1947 in Anderson, IN.

On 19 November 1966, Specialist Four Dwight Leroy Basey was serving as an infantryman with B Company, 1st Battalion, 14th Infantry, 25th Infantry Division in Kontum Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, SP4 Basey was killed in action by small arms fire. His body was recovered.
