Dan Willie "Red" Archer, Jr.

On 15 July 1967, Private First Class Dan W. Archer, Jr. was serving with C Company, 1st Battalion, 35th Infantry, 25th Infantry Division in Quang Ngai Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, PFC Archer was killed in action when he sustained wounds from small arms fire. His body was recovered.
