Almon C. Wilson Almon C. Wilson was born on 13 July 1924 in Hudson Falls, NY. Wilson served as the personal physician to Admiral Thomas Moorer, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He was the architect of the Navy's mobile hospital system. Wilson was a veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam. Death and Burial Rear Admiral Almon C. Wilson died on 30 June 2003 in Silverdale, WA. He is buried at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY. |
