Charles H. Roadman, Sr. Charles H. Roadman, Sr. was born on 7 July 1914 in Waterloo, IA. Roadman was an outstanding Air Force medical corps physician and leader. His assignments included duty as Director of Aerospace Medicine for NASA's Manned Flight Operations and as Commander of the Air Force's Aerospace Medicine Division. He retired at the rank of Major General. Family His son, Lieutenant General Charles H. Roadman, Jr., became an Air Force Surgeon General. Death and Burial Major General Charles H. Roadman, Sr. died on 11 January 2000. He is buried at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, TX. |
