Jones Morgan

Jones Morgan was born on 23 October 1882.

Morgan was the last surviving member of the original Buffalo Soldiers Unit. At age 15 he fought with the only black regiment that took part in the Spanish-American War. He was the last surviving veteran of the Spanish-American War, dying at age 110.

Death and Burial

Trooper Jones Morgan died on 29 August 1993 in Richmond, VA. He is buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery and Mausoleum in Henrico, VA.
