Biography:

Major Rodarme was the commander of Company A, 1st Battalion, 38th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. On 18 May 1951, the Chinese launched a vicious attack on the positions of Company A on Hill 1051 near Panmegi-ri, South Korea. During this courageous defense, Major Rodarme was killed.

For his leadership and valor, Major Rodarme was awarded the Silver Star Medal, the Bronze Star Medal, the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
