Louis Albert "Al" Maresca was born in Jersey City, NJ, on 15 February 1923. He was the oldest son of Louis and Josephine Abruscato Maresca. Al married Florence Gehlbach in 1948 and they remained married for over 51 years until they were parted by his death.

He was the proud father and best friend of Michael, loving father-in-law to Colleen and devoted PopPop to Jennifer and Michael II. He was a loving and caring man. He and his son were best buddies and closer than most fathers and sons could ever dream to be. He is missed terribly and his loss leaves a void in the lives of those who knew and loved him.  

Death and Burial

Louis Albert "Al" Maresca died on 21 January 2000 in Gainesville, FL. He is buried at Forest Meadows Memorial Park and Mausoleum Central in Gainesville, Alachua County, FL, in Mausoleum Central Row 3.
