Private First Class Glover was a member of the 82nd Engineer Pipeline Company, U.S. Army. On 31 December 1953, he was electrocuted when his crane accidentally touched a 3,300 volt power line at Inchon, South Korea.

Glover was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
