Private First Class Geis was a member of Battery D, 78th Anti-Aircraft Battalion. He died of other causes on 23 June 1953 near Jin Ahe Re, South Korea. Geis was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal. |
