John Curtin III

Specialist Four, U.S. Army

John Curtin III was born on 25 December 1945.

On 26 August 1968, Specialist Four John Curtin III was serving with D Company, 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, in Tay Ninh Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, SP4 Curtin was killed in action when he sustained wounds from artillery, rocket or mortar fire. His body was recovered.
