Michael George Clarke

Lieutenant Commander (Commander Select), U.S. Navy

Michael George Clarke was born on 27 March 1974. He was the son of Patricia and Leo George Clarke III, and brother of Jennifer Clarke-Sirignano. Clarke was an honors graduate of Emmaus High School in Emmaus, PA, and an honors graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Class of 1996, and the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences School of Medicine in Bethesda, MD.

LCDR (Commander Select) Clarke was a Naval Flight Surgeon and a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon stationed at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Beaufort, SC.

Clarke, age 37, died suddenly in Beaufort Memorial Hospital, Beaufort, SC, on 28 December 1911.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Miller-Clarke, and their three young children.

Burial

Lieutenant Commander Clarke is buried at the U.S. Naval Academy Cemetery in Annapolis, MD.
