Kenneth Alvin Babb was born on 26 December 1946 in Suffolk, VA.

On 11 June 1966, SP4 Kenneth A. Babb was serving as a Combat Medic with Recon Platoon, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 28th Infantry, 1st Infantry Division in Binh Long Province, South Vietnam.

SP4 Babb was killed in action that day when he sustained multiple fragmentation wounds.
