William Howard Dabney
Colonel, United States Marine Corps

United States Marine Corps colonel who received the Navy Cross during the Vietnam War. His last assignment was as Commanding Officer of Virginia Military Institute's NROTC Unit. He was the son-in-law of legendary Marine Corps general Chesty Puller.
