Duane Charles Akkerman

On 27 October 1967, PFC Duane Charles Akkerman was an Infantryman serving with B Company, 1st Battalion, 7th Cavalry, 1st Cavalry Division in Quang Tin Province, South Vietnam.

PFC Akkerman was killed in action that day when he sustained wounds from small arms fire.
