Albert Brown Private 1st Class, U. S. Army Silver Star Awarded the Silver Star citation as cited in G.O.73 HQ 7th Division Dec. 30, 1920. Private Albert Brown, asn-3069686, Mach Gun Co., 34th Inf., at Jaulny, France, on Nov 1-2, 1918, remained with his mach gun det. under heavy barrage of artillery, machine guns and gas in a position almost unoccupied by other troops, displayed marked courage and calmness during 24 hours of severe artillery fire in reestablishing positions destroyed and in remounting machine guns. |
