James A. Rushin James A. Rushin was born on 15 September 1922. Rushin was one of the famed "Tuskegee Airmen" whose World War II heroics and squadron war records aided in the desegregation of the U.S. Armed Forces in 1948 by President Harry S. Truman. Death and Burial Second Lieutenant James A. Rushin died on 14 September 1998. He is buried at Amawalk Hill Cemetery in Amawalk, NY. |
