Note: Korean War casualty records show that PFC Personett was a member of the 89th Medium Tank Battalion. However, the 89th was not activated until 7 August 1950 - five days after he was killed in action. The most likely unit he would have been assigned to, based on his headstone application card showing him serving with the 25th Infantry Division, was Company "A", 79th Tank Battalion.
