Thomas Meason Thomas Meason was born in 1726 in Uniontown, PA. Meason served in the Continental Army during the American Revolution and achieved the rank of Brigadier General. He was also an accomplished Pennsylvania lawyer. Death and Burial Brigadier General Thomas Meason died on 10 March 1813 in Washington, DC, and was buried in the Old Presbyterian Cemetery in that city. On 12 May 1892 he was re-buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA. He is the oldest person buried in Arlington in terms of date of birth. |
