Harold William Marney
Motor Machinist's Mate Second Class, U.S. Navy

Harold William Marney was born on 25 October 1924.

He served aboard PT-109 under Lieutenant John F. Kennedy. Marney was one of two crew members killed when PT-109 was sunk by a Japanese destroyer.

Marney was lost at sea and his body was never recovered.

Death

Harold William Marney died at sea on 2 August 1943. His body was never recovered. His name is listed on the Tablets of the Missing at the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial in Manila, Philippines
