B29 Bomber pilot flying out of Guam during World War II.

Piloted A-1E Skyraider in Vietnam in the 1st Air Commando Squadron. Aircraft hit by anti-aircraft fire over Laos, 4 June 1967. Remains returned 19 February 1988. Positively identified 5 March 1999.

Burial location - Arlington National Cemetery; Section 66, Gravesite 5359.

Remembered on the Vietnam Memorial Wall, Panel 21 East, Line 56.
