James Allen Hurd James Allen Hurd was born on 20 August 1917. He was a Buffalo Soldier and one of the Tuskegee Airmen who pioneered racial equality in the military. Death and Burial Lieutenant Colonel James Allen Hurd died on 2 May 2000 from complications following a stroke. He is buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA. |
