Duane Daniel Hodges
Damage Controlman Third Class, U.S. Navy Reserve

Duane Daniel Hodges was born on 5 September 1946 in Creswell, OR.

Hodges was a crewman aboard the U.S. Naval Intelligence ship, USS Pueblo (AGER-2). On 23 January 1968, his ship was attacked in International waters off North Korea by the North Korean Navy. He was killed in action when a 55mm shell penetrated the ship and struck him while he was destroying classified documents.

He was the only crew member killed during the attack. The other crewman were captured and held as Prisoners of War for 11 months.
