Son of a career U.S. Air Force Officer.
Vietnam War service. Assigned to Battery "B," 3d Battalion, 34th Field Artillery Regiment, 9th Infantry Division (Old Reliables) attached as a Forward Observer to an Infantry Battalion. Missing in action while saving a fellow soldier during a river crossing. Remains not recovered.
Remembered with his name chiseled into a stone bench beneath a Gold Star at the Captain Rocky Versace Plaza and Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Alexandria, VA.
