Jerry Lee Marcum

On 17 September 1968, Private First Class Jerry Lee Marcum was serving with H Company, 2nd Battalion, 26th Marines, 1st Marine Division, III Marine Amphibious Force in Quang Tri Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, PFC Marcum was killed in action at Landing Zone MARGO when he sustained wounds from artillery or mortar fire. His body was recovered.
