Dennis Fox Hughes

Dennis Fox Hughes was born on 11 November 1947 in Herrin, IL, the son of John Cecil and Ann Abernathy Hughes. His father was a Colonel in the U.S. Army [Honoree Record ID 309899] and a two-time recipient of the Distinguished Service Cross in Korea.

On 10 April 1968, Private First Class Dennis Fox Hughes was serving with Delta Company, 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry, 173rd Airborne Brigade, in Binh Dinh Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, PFC Hughes died of Non-Hostile, Other Causes. His body was recovered.
