Hal Cushman Castle, Jr.

On 28 April 1969, Lieutenant Hal Cushman Castle, Jr. was serving with HA(L)-3, TF 116, U.S. Naval Forces Vietnam, in Cambodia.

On that day, LT Castle was killed in action in the crash of the helicopter (due to hostile action) in which he was a pilot. His body was recovered and returned to U.S. soil on 20 February 1970.
