George Caron George Caron was born on 31 October 1919. Caron was the tail gunner on the "Enola Gay," the plane that dropped the Atomic Bomb on Hiroshima on 6 August 1945. He was awarded the Silver Star Medal. Death and Burial George Caron died on 3 June 1995. He is buried at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO. |
