Franklin Randolph Akana

On 8 May 1968, Specialist Five Franklin Randolph Akana was serving with the 114th Assault Helicopter Company, 214th Aviation Battalion, 164th Aviation Group, 1st Aviation Brigade, in Chau Doc Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, SP5 Akana died of other causes, an accident, in a non-hostile action. His body was recovered.
