John Bernard Ahern

On 8 May 1968, Specialist Four John Bernard Ahern was serving with C Company, 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry, 101st Airborne Division, in Thua Thien Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, SP4 Ahern was killed in action when he sustained wounds from small arms fire. His body was recovered.
