David Lee Aerts

On 9 December 1968, Lance Corporal David Lee Aerts was serving with CAP 4-1-4, CACO 4-1, 4th CAG, Combined Action, III Marine Amphibious Force in Quang Tri Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, LCpl Aerts sustained wounds from small arms fire. He died of his wounds on 19 December 1968. His body was recovered.
