Woodrow William Adams
Private First Class, U.S. Marine Corps

On 22 February 1969, Private First Class Woodrow William Adams was serving with D Company, 1st Battalion, 26th Marines, 1st Marine Division, III Marine Amphibious Force in Quang Nam Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, PFC Adams was killed in action when he sustained wounds from small arms fire. His body was recovered.
