Thomas Burl Adams

On 4 March 1968, Second Lieutenant Thomas Burl Adams was serving with 1st Platoon, D Company, 1st Battalion, 52nd Infantry, 109th Infantry Brigade, Americal Division, in Quang Ngai Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, 2LT Adams was killed in action when he sustained wounds from small arms fire. His body was recovered.

Adams received a posthumous promotion to the rank of First Lieutenant.
