Steven Harold Adams

On 18 October 1966, Airman 1st Class Steven Harold Adams was serving with the 33rd Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Service, 3rd Air Rescue Group, 7th Air Force.

On that day A1C Adams was a crew member on an aircraft that was shot down over the Gulf of Tonkin, North Vietnam and he was listed as Missing in Action. His body was not recovered. He was declared dead on 18 July 1973.

During the time that he was Missing in Action, he was promoted to the rank of Master Sergeant.
