Paul Vernon Adams On 3 March 1970, Specialist Four Paul Vernon Adams was serving with D Company, 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry, 173rd Airborne Brigade, in Binh Dinh Province, South Vietnam. On that day, SPC4 Adams was wounded in action by an explosive device. He died of his wounds on 7 March 1970. His body was recovered. Adams received a posthumous promotion to the rank of Sergeant. Medals, Awards and Badges Purple Heart Honors The name Paul V Adams is located on Panel W13 Line 90 of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. |
