Merritt Adams

On 10 September 1970, Specialist Four Merritt Adams was serving with D Company, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry, 173rd Airborne Brigade, in Binh Dinh Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, SPC4 Adams died of wounds he sustained from an explosive device. His body was recovered.

Adams received a posthumous promotion to the rank of Sergeant.
