John Louis Adams

On 11 July 1968, Private First Class John Louis Adams was serving with B Troop, 1st Squadron, 506th Infantry, 1st Cavalry, America Division, in Quang Tin Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, PFC Adams was killed in action when he sustained wounds from an explosive device. His body was recovered.

Adams received a posthumous promotion to the rank of Corporal.
