James Richard Adams
Specialist Four, U.S. Army

On 22 April 1967, Specialist Four James Richard Adams was serving with the 118th Assault Helicopter Company, 145th Aviation Battalion, 12th Aviation Group, 1st Aviation Brigade, in Bien Hoa Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, SPC4 Adams died in the crash of the helicopter in which he was a crew member resulting from a non-hostile action. His body was recovered.
