|
David Vernon Adams On 14 January 1969, Private First Class David Vernon Adams was serving with C Company, 2nd Battalion, 22nd Infantry, 25th Infantry Division, in Tay Ninh Province, South Vietnam. On that day, PFC Adams was killed in action when he sustained wounds from Misadventure: Friendly Fire. His body was recovered. Adams received a posthumous promotion to the rank of Corporal.
