Darrius Wayne Adams

On 27 April 1968, Private First Class Darrius Wayne Adams was serving with A Company, 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry, 4th Infantry Division, in Kontum Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, PFC Adams was wounded in action when he sustained wounds from an explosive device. He died of his wounds on 5 May 1968. His body was recovered.

Adams received a posthumous promotion to Corporal.
