Bert Morris Adams III

On 13 April 1969, Corporal Bert Morris Adams III was serving with 3rd Platoon, A Company, 5th Engineer Battalion, 5th Marines, 1st Marine Division, III Marine Amphibious Force in Quang Nam Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, Cpl Adams sustained wounds from Friendly Fire. He died of those wounds on 29 April 1969. His body was recovered.
