Paul Laverne Jenkins

On 30 June 1970, Master Sergeant Paul Laverne Jenkins was serving with the 40th Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Squadron, 3rd Air Rescue Group, 7th Air Force.

On that day MSgt Jenkins was listed as Died While Missing when the helicopter on which he was a crew member was shot down in Laos. His body was not initially recovered but was found later. His remains were returned to U.S. soil on 24 March 1993 and were identified on 7 March 1995.
